While studying Fine Arts at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Joana followed training in zen meditation, Kashmir yoga, and breathing- and voice exercises. She also holds a BA in Cultural Studies, though has been navigating cultural differences as long as she can remember being raised bilingual and with a double nationality (Dutch/Brazilian). 

In October 2023 she followed the Level One Training. Since then she considers the House of Being a safe playground to notice movements within and expressing it in relation to others. It has been a joy meeting people devoted to authenticity. She is especially thankful for Mirjam and Jordi inspiring her to stand her own ground and to recognize that this naturally involves holding space for others to do the same. 

Joana assists the Intro to Tantra workshops and Level One Trainings.
