AWAKEN

Return to your ground of being

Presence, love, intimacy and aliveness are not things to be achieved but qualities that reveal themselves when we soften back into what is already here.

In this Level Three Autumn Seminar, we gently enter the profound and transformative realm of death. Through Kali-inspired practices, you are invited into a direct experience of presence and unconditional love.

Introduction

Everything is in constant transition.

You may already sense that holding on to self-created narratives no longer serves you, and yet allowing life to unfold by itself, without control, can feel unfamiliar and even unsettling. To live openly in the flow of change asks something deep of us.

At the core of our human experience lies the fear of loss. We fear losing the people and things we love, and ultimately we fear the loss of our own body and personal history.

In response, we create stories to hold everything in place. We shape ideas about who we are and how life should be, and we try to live accordingly. These narratives are not wrong in themselves, but when we take them to be absolutely true, we begin to identify with them. We contract into a fixed sense of self and lose contact with life as it is unfolding in each moment.

Holding this structure together requires energy. When we are caught in mental tension, the body tightens and emotions are suppressed. Our natural life force becomes restricted and begins to stagnate. We may find ourselves moving through life on autopilot, feeling numb, drained or contracted.

Why join?

Finding Life by Embracing Death

Life moves in a natural rhythm of becoming, being and dissolving, again and again. This cycle is present in everything, in the seasons, in nature, in our thoughts and emotions, and in our own bodies.

To trust this movement requires courage. When we begin to include impermanence and allow death to be part of life rather than something to resist, something shifts. We are brought back into the immediacy of the present moment.

Here, we rediscover what has never been absent, a sense of love, intimacy and aliveness that is not dependent on circumstances.

What we will explore

In this seminar, the exploration is not merely conceptual but deeply embodied. You are invited into a direct experience of impermanence and the subtle fear that can arise when facing it.

Through practices such as silent sitting, Kali visualisations, darkness, Tandava, movement, breathwork, relational exploration, inquiry and writing, we create a space in which experience can unfold naturally.

You are invited to meet fear with openness and curiosity, to gently look it in the eye. Within a safe and held environment, we explore what it means to let go of control and to remain present in the midst of fear and grief.

In this, surrender is not something forced, but something that reveals itself as we begin to trust the movement of life and death.
